Identify the entire type system at once
Most posters use 2 to 4 complementary fonts. Rather than cropping one line at a time, FontFind groups regions into roles:
Honest verdicts for custom & AI lettering
If a poster uses hand lettering or AI-generated words, existing tools waste your time sending you after fonts that don't exist.
FontFind measures contour variance across identical characters. When the three "e"s in a word differ by 18% (real fonts differ by < 2%), we tell you immediately and provide the closest real fonts.
Automate font identification in your apps & AI agents
Integrate FontFind via standard REST API or hook up the Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool into Claude, Cursor, or your custom agents.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does FontFind work without manual letter labeling?
Unlike older tools that require clicking and typing each letter, FontFind combines automatic layout analysis with local glyph fingerprint matching. The engine detects text blocks, cuts glyph shapes, and compares their contours against our pre-computed index of 10,000+ font styles in seconds.
What is 'Poster Mode'?
Real posters almost never use just one font. Poster Mode analyzes the entire composition at once, categorizing fonts into Headline, Subheadline, Body copy, and Credits to give you the complete typographic system in one go.
How does FontFind detect hand lettering or AI-generated text?
Standard computer fonts use mathematically identical glyphs for repeated letters (e.g. all three 'e's in a word are identical with < 2% variance). In hand lettering and AI generative art, repeated letters naturally vary. FontFind calculates glyph consistency: if variance exceeds 12%, it honestly warns you that no exact font exists and suggests the closest matching real fonts.
Are my uploaded posters kept private?
Yes. All processing is local on our own servers. Images are auto-deleted after 24 hours by default and are never used to train external models.
